This website is operated by Locata (Housing Services) Limited on behalf of the London Boroughs of: Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow and the registered provider landlords (RP) A2Dominion, Catalyst Housing Group, Hillside Housing Trust, Genesis Housing Group, Inquilab, Network Stadium Housing Association, Notting Hill Housing, Octavia Housing, Paradigm Housing Group Ltd, Shepherds Bush Housing Association, Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation, Thames Valley Housing Association and Westway Housing Assocation, and other partners that may join the West London Locata partnership from time to time, in accordance with the 1998 Data Protection Act. It enables applicants for social housing to register their details on one database. Registering will provide you with on line access to the Locata targeted housing options website and, if you are eligible and have priority, will enable you to bid for properties advertised by Locata on behalf of the partners.

 

Who are Locata (Housing Services) Limited?

Locata is a Controlled Company owned by the London Boroughs of: Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow, and Catalyst Housing Group, Genesis Housing Group and Paradigm Housing Group.

 

Security of Information

The Councils, partner RP landlords and Locata will take every precaution to protect your information both online and offline, in accordance with legislation such as the Data Protection Act 1998. Any data used in our offices is protected in accordance with industry standards.

 

What Personal Information do we collect?

You must give your name, email address and relevant personal details. We will also collect information from you if you complete any other forms on our site or if you contact us with comments or specific requests. This information is only used for the intended purpose and, if we wish to use it for any other purpose, we will ask you first.

 

Truthfulness

You must complete the form truthfully and correctly to the best of your knowledge. If you knowingly making false statements on this online form this could give your council or housing association grounds for deferring, cancelling or amending your housing registration, or for prosecuting you. You could lose any tenancy granted as a result of giving false information. You must notify your housing officer of any changes in your circumstances that affect the details you have given on the on-line form.

 

Sharing of Information

Applicants registering on this site do so for the purposes of applying for social housing. Some of these homes are owned by and run by registered providers (usually housing associations). Data may be passed to these organisations in order to enable accurate and fair matching of people to properties to take place. Partner councils and RP landlords may also make enquiries with other agencies such as Housing Benefit departments.

 

Medical Information

Partner councils and RP landlords may obtain medical information from the relevant authorities to confirm details entered on the application form and to enable us to assess your level of housing need.
